NOTES: How does this porcelain flower vase look so much like a cloth bag? Here's how. Using the Japanese Nerikomi technique, maker Saori M. first inlays a blue checkered pattern, slices it into thin sheets, and assembles it as if actually making a bag piece by piece. The resulting crumpled form gives it a stunning organic softness, making a porcelain piece unlike anything you’ve seen before! With a simple yet very unique design, this piece is gender neutral and suitable for any interior. A small bouquet is a beautiful accompaniment - or use it as a stunning functional piece of art for a vanity (tall make up brushes) or desk (your pens and pencils).
